Events Terms and Conditions

Confirmation

Written confirmation is required within 14 days of the original verbal booking with a best estimate of numbers. Confirmation is accepted

via email or letter. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if written confirmation is not received within 14 days.

Payment

A deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking and remaining balance of 50% is due one month prior to the event.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation there will be a charge of:-

A 3-6 months in advance 60% (this includes the 50% deposit) of the venue fee

B 1-3 months in advance 70% of the venue fee

C less than 1 month 90% of the venue fee

D 7 days in advance 100% of the venue fee

Guest numbers

Final numbers and venue requirements to be confirmed one month in advance of the event taking place.

Finishing Times

Weddings and events must finish at 12 midnight. The venue must be vacated within 30 minutes thereafter. The finishing time may be earlier on weekdays and Sundays. This is at the discretion of the Owners. An extension of the ultimate end time may not be possible or will be

charged at an extra hourly rate of £300 per hour.

Price Variation

We reserve the right to increase prices in the event of circumstances beyond its control.

Insurance/Damage

Clients are responsible to us for any damage to property or theft of property caused by the clients, their guests, agents or employees. We recommend that the Client takes out a ‘Wedding or events Insurance Policy’ which covers loss or damage to property. We do hold a Public Liability insurance policy.

Equipment and Property

Clients own equipment and property is brought in

at their own risk and we accepts no liability for loss or damage. This includes car parking. If personal property is not removed within 48 hours after an event/wedding, it will be disposed of.

Force Majeure

If we is limited or hindered from hosting the event or providing any facility booked by the client due to circumstances beyond its control eg. Government intervention, acts of God, civil disturbance, war, national or local disaster, strikes, labour disputes, then the liability to the client shall not exceed the amount paid by the client to in respect of the event.
